– Black marker to label the boxes and a red marker to write fragile or handle with care on the boxes

How Do You Pack Dishes for Moving

Here are some detailed steps to make sure the dishes in your home are packed well for the journey to your new home.
– Reinforce all the bottoms of the boxes with an extra layer of packing tape. These boxes will need to be able to carry a significant amount of weight inside them.
– Pad the inside of the boxes with packing paper so that your dishes aren’t lying on the bottom of a hard box. This will help to cushion any movement during the move.
– Use a couple of pieces of packing paper around each of your dishes. You want to have plenty of padding around each one so that they aren’t cracked during the move.
– If you have dishes that are especially fragile and sentimental to you, bubble wrap will be the best way to make sure they aren’t damaged during the move.
– You can use packing tape to secure several plates together before placing them in the box. This will keep them from moving too much and will lessen the chances of breaking.
